Editorial Process

Every manuscript submitted to the journal follows the same eight stages. Nothing is published without completing them.

  1. Submission. The author submits through the journal's online system.
  2. Initial editorial screening. The editor checks scope, originality and research ethics. Manuscripts outside the journal's subject range, or failing the ethics check, are declined at this stage without review.
  3. Peer review. Screened manuscripts go to Editorial Board Members appointed internally to the manuscript, under double-anonymous review: authors do not learn who reviewed their work, and reviewers are not told who wrote it. Reviewers have four weeks to accept the appointment and four weeks to report.
  4. Revision. Reviewer comments are returned to the author, who revises and resubmits. More than one round may be required.
  5. Acceptance. The editor decides on the basis of the reviews. Acceptance is the point at which the article processing charge below becomes payable.
  6. Copyediting and typesetting. The accepted manuscript is edited for language and consistency, then typeset to the journal's format. Authors approve the proof.
  7. Publication. The article is assigned to an issue and published open access, free to read.
  8. Archiving. The published version and its metadata are preserved and made discoverable through the indexing services listed above.

Article Processing Charge

There is no fee to submit. Submission, editorial screening and peer review cost the author nothing. A single article processing charge becomes payable only if the manuscript is accepted for publication, and it covers copyediting, typesetting, hosting and permanent archiving.

Author location Charge Paid by
India ₹2,500 UPI
International $50 PayPal (cards accepted)

How payment is arranged. No charge is payable until a manuscript has been accepted. On acceptance, the editor emails the corresponding author with the payment details: the UPI ID for authors paying from within India, or the PayPal link for authors paying internationally. The same email states where proof of payment should be sent. No payment is due, and no payment details are published publicly, before it is issued.

The charge is per accepted article, not per author. Readers pay nothing: the journal is fully open access. Questions about the charge before submitting are welcome at chief.editor@wordsmithstrategyhub.com
